Comedy on the Coast July 10-11

A regular panel member on NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me, Alonzo Bodden has been making audiences around the country laugh for more than 20 years. Alonzo’s latest (2022) comedy special Alonzo Bodden: Stupid Don’t Get Tired, was released on YouTube by Helium Comedy Studios. In 2019, he starred in his fourth stand-up special, Alonzo Bodden: Heavy Lightweight, which premiered exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

His first big comedy break came when he was on the “New Faces of Comedy” showcase at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. However, it was as the season three winner of NBCʼs Last Comic Standing where Alonzo was first introduced to America.

After serving in the US Army, Josh Novey started doing comedy at night. Quickly finding a voice, Josh has become one of the most sought after comedians. He works clean, so your mom will enjoy his charm. And your dad will think he’s tough because he’s a combat veteran. He’s appeared on Netlfix, Comedy Central, and has Two Dry Bar Comedy Specials.
