House Rules

  1. Must be at least 21 years of age to wager and/or collect.
  2. Check tickets for accuracy before leaving the window. Leaving the window with the ticket is deemed as acceptance of the wager by both parties.
  3. Over and under bets will include the totals of both teams playing.
  4. Management reserves the right to accept, limit, or refuse any wager.
  5. Winning tickets are valid for 30 days.
  6. All prices and odds are subject to change.
  7. Games must be played on date scheduled. Postponement that exceeds 24 hours constitutes no action and money will be refunded. Bets must be made before the start of the game.
  8. Management is not responsible for altered, lost, stolen, or unreadable tickets.
  9. Management will keep a record of all point spreads and line changes.  In the event of obvious mechanical or human error, both the customer and the management will be protected. Odds and line changes will be posted on the sports book board. The changes will be posted within two minutes. In the event there is no space on the sports book board for certain propositions, these propositions will be on a handout. Odds and line changes, for which there is no space on the board, will be provided by ticket writer upon request.
  10. Disputes between the sports book and the customer will be handled in accordance with the Siletz Tribal Gaming Regulations.
  11. Management may accept wagers at other than currently posted terms or odds. Minimum and maximum wager amounts will be determined by the management.
  12. Winnings are subject to IRS reporting and withholding rules, if applicable.
  13. Management is not responsible for game sites or date of event. If game site changes or date of the event changes, all bets placed at the first game site or first date of the event have no action and will be refunded.
  14. Any rules written on handouts for specific props are considered house rules.
  15. Once the period, quarter, or half has ended the prop wager has action regardless of the completion of the entire game.
  16. Suspended games (excepting baseball), protests, and overturned decisions will not be recognized for betting purposes.

Professional and College Football Rules

  1. Over and under bets “totals” are the combined scores of both teams in a football contest. Money will be returned in case of a push. Overtime periods are included in the total score.
  2. In case of interruption, a college or professional football game will be considered official at the five-minute mark in the 4th quarter. This includes straight and total bets.
  3. A parlay bet will be reduced to the next number of teams played if any of the games result in a betting tie, or if any of the games are postponed. If this parlay consists of two teams in the above situation, the remaining game becomes a straight bet.
  4. Teaser bets are governed by the same rules as parlay bets. The only exception is the two-team teaser. If one of the games results in a betting tie, there is no action and the wager will be refunded.

Basketball Rules

  1. For betting purposes, a game is official if played within five minutes of completion.
  2. A total score wager is no action if game is not totally completed.
  3. Over/under bets will include overtime totals if necessary.

Olympic Rules

  1. Olympic wagering will be allowed on events listed on the board or handouts and are subject to change.
  2. All bets are action regardless of whether the team or athletes qualifies to participate in the Olympic games. This also includes teams or athletes which qualify but do not participate.
  3. In the event of a tie in any event, all tickets will be refunded, unless a tie is a wager, then only tie wagers will win.
  4. If an event is cancelled before a winner is determined all wagers will be refunded.
  5. Wagers on events not played on scheduled date or scheduled venue will be refunded.
  6. Field bets – all wagers are action regardless of number of participants that qualify.
  7. All winning wagers will be based on the immediate official Olympic result website to be determined by management. Results overturned later by the Olympic committee for any reason will not be winning wagers.

Hockey Rules

  1. For wagering purposes, in the event of a shootout, the winner is awarded one goal which is considered in the determination of the winner and loser and counted toward the game total.
  2. Game is official after 55 minutes of play.

Auto Racing Rules

  1. Driver must start for action.
  2. In match-up propositions, all drivers involved in any match-up must start or the wager is deemed “no action” and all wagers involved in the match-up will be refunded. The winner of the match-up propositions will be based on the official finish order.
  3. Wagers accepted on drivers only, not teams or cars unless stipulated on the printed odds sheets.
  4. The winner at the conclusion of the race will be the winner for wagering purposes.
  5. You have action if race goes within one week of the scheduled date.

Baseball Rules

  1. Team name denotes action. Pitcher name denotes listed pitcher.  A stands for action. L stands for listed pitcher.
  2. The result of the game is official after five (5) innings or if the visiting team completes the top of the fifth inning and the home team is leading.
  3. If a game is cancelled or suspended after five (5) innings the winner is determined by the score after the last full inning (unless the home team scores to tie, or takes the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the winner is determined by the score at the time the game is called). Events do not carry over to the following day.
  4. Total and run line wagers will be considered action if nine (9) full innings are completed or if eight and a half (8 1/2) innings are completed and the home team is winning. In addition, for run line and total wagers, listed pitchers must start for action, if a game is called or suspended in extra innings, the total and run wagers will be determined by the completion of the last complete full inning (unless the home team scores to tie or take the lead in the bottom half of the inning, in which case the score is determined at the time the game is called).

First Five (5) Inning Wagers

  1. All wagers on first five (5) innings will be decided on the score at the end of five (5) full innings.
  2. Once five (5) full innings have been completed, all wagers on first five (5) innings will stand.
  3. On all first five (5) inning wagers, original listed pitchers must go.  Any off-pitcher constitutes no action.

Tennis Rules

  1. Tennis match must go one full set for “action” or wager will be refunded.
  2. In match-up proposition, players must start the tennis match, or the wager is deemed “no action” and all wagers involved in the match-up will be refunded.

Golf Rules

  1. Golfer must tee off for action.
  2. All golfers in a match-up must tee off to start the tournament, or the match-up is “no action.” this also includes daily match-up wagers. All “no action” wagers will be refunded.
  3. Golfer with the lower score wins the match-up (with equal rounds played).
  4. If one golfer continues play after his opponent has missed the cut,  withdrawn (WD) or been disqualified (DQ), the golfer who continues play wins his match-up.
  5. If both golfers in a match-up are in a play-off, the winner of the play-off wins the match-up and all other play-off golfers tie each other.

Parlay and Teaser Card Rules

  1. All house rules apply unless otherwise noted on the card.
  2. These cards are for the express use of Chinook Winds and are not considered valid for any other use.
  3. Games not played on date specified are considered no games.
  4. All cards must be in before game starts.
  5. Management reserves the right to delete any game on the card at any time.
  6. Check your tickets carefully: payouts will be made from the computer-generated tickets only.
  7. The maximum aggregate payout for all wagers taken on this card from all patrons is $100,000 plus twice the total amount wagered on this card. This aggregate payoff shall be paid in proportion to the amount won by all patrons and shall be calculated without regard to the number of propositions selected. Payouts in excess of $10,000 may be withheld until the last proposition of the card is final.
