Halloween at the Beach

Before you know it, Autumn will be here and it will be time for crisp mornings, hot apple cider, pumpkin patches and leaves in rich tones falling everywhere. It’s a beautiful time to visit the Oregon Coast and there are tons of things to experience in Lincoln City.

When you think of fall, what’s one of the first things that comes to mind? Football season, baby! Monday nights you can find us hanging out at Aces Bar and Grill watching the weekly game and vying for coveted NFL themed prizes! On October 5^th and 6^th head to D-River Wayside State Park and take in the Fall Kite Festival put on by Explore Lincoln City. This family event starts at 10am and goes until 4pm with performances by Featured Fliers and much more!

A Tour to Die For is put on by community volunteers at Theater West and it happens in September. Meet the permanent residents of Taft Pioneer Cemetery! Your guide will bring you on-board a tour van and delight you with tales of Lincoln City’s History.

Haunted Taft- enjoy a walking tour of our Taft District and learn of local legends such as a Bigfoot sighting, hauntings of the oldest continuously open bar on the Oregon Coast and more!  Headed to Lincoln City any other month other than October? Don’t fret- Haunted Taft has a Full Moon Tour monthly that happens on (you guessed it) the full moon of every month!

Calling all Warlocks, Wizards and Witches! fly over to our annual Scream Halloween Party at Chinook Winds Casino Resort. This grown up’s only night has adult beverages for sale, club music and competitive costume contest! Join us October 26^th from 9pm-2am in the Chinook Winds Showroom.
