Andrew Sleighter started in comedy looking for the perfect funny line to open a biography. Since then, Andrew’s laid-back style and clever writing has won him appreciation from fans and respect from his peers.
Andrew wrote and blogged for the Sports Show with Norm Macdonald on Comedy Central and was a regular on the MTV prank show Money From Strangers. He’s performed on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, Nuvo TV’s Stand Up & Deliver and made his late-night stand-up debut on Conan earlier last year.
A regular at colleges and comedy clubs across the country, Andrew’s also performed at some of the most prestigious comedy festivals in and out of the country including Bumbershoot, Bridgetown, The Cabo Comedy Festival, The Aspen Comedy Festival, Laughing Skull, and the Johnny Carson Great American Comedy Festival.
Andrew’s comedy has the ability to reach wide ranges of audiences and works in a diversity of rooms. Reliable and consistent, he rarely ends a show by lighting the stage on fire out of rage. Most importantly, he’s constantly fascinated by and eager to keep learning about stand-up.
In 2006, Mike Head started stand-up comedy on a dare. His co-workers and family members thought his foolishness and impersonations needed a platform. He was a 2019 finalist for the nation-wide comedy competition, Stand-Up for NBC. In 2013, Mike Head was featured at the “Comedy Wings Competition” at the American Black Film Festival where he was one of 4 finalists. Mike regularly performs at clubs, churches and corporate events all across the country. He has also been seen on television programs showcasing fresh comedic talent such as Laughs TV on Hulu and Tru TV’s Laff Mob’s Laff Tracks. In recent years he was given an opportunity to showcase his comedic acting ability in the Lifetime feature film With This Ring directed by Nzingha Stewart. Mike’s latest role is in the drama/comedy Jerico where he shares the screen with seasoned entertainers such as George Wallace and actress Jo Marie Payton. This film has made successful rounds on the film festival circuit and has recently received national and international distribution.
