Position Summary

Responsible for providing exemplary guest service by performing general maintenance & minor repairs of slot machines on the gaming floor.

Essential Functions

  • Perform preventative maintenance & minor repair of slot machines on gaming floor.
  • Update machine maintenance records.
  • Perform bill test and other tests on machines as necessary.
  • Repair Bill Validator and printers using test equipment’s in the tech shop.
  • Repair bill jams with assistance from Security with checking out cash box access keys.
  • Perform emergency cash canister exchanges with assistance from Security and Cage department.
  • Provide assistance to customers with machine malfunctions and disputes.
  • Provide assistance to Slot Technicians to change the table layouts on blackjack, craps, roulette and any other table games.
  • Replace card shufflers on table games.
  • Provide assistance with jackpot payoffs.
  • Must safeguard entrusted monies, keys and properties.
  • Serves as back up to Slot Technician and Slot Shift Supervisor.
  • Maintain general appearance and safety of work area on the casino floor and in the Tech Shop.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with Chinook Winds Casino Resort customer service standards.
  • Maintains general knowledge and provides information to guests of Chinook Winds Casino Resort events, programs and services.
  • Provides input or recommendations for improvements and changes in processes or services.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or GED

 

Experience

One year experience as a Key Person or 1-year experience working in an electronics or mechanical field.

 

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office beginner level including Word, Excel and Outlook

 

Certificates & Licenses

Siletz Tribal Gaming License

 

Other Requirements

Occasionally have to work overtime, different shifts and different days off
