Position Summary

Position Summary Provide superior guest service, positively effects interaction with customers and employees, and has the resiliency to deal with difficult customers in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with members of Marketing and other departments.  Explain the benefits of the Winner Circle player club and encourage membership.  Extend complimentary services and assist in the implementation of promotions, special events, tournaments, parties and other duties as needed.

Essential Functions

  • Act as an ambassador for the casino and Winners Circle and display a professional manner at all times.
  • Encourage new membership to the Winners Circle.
  • Extend complimentary services to guests within the guidelines established by management.
  • Assist with the implementation of assigned parties, promotions, special events and tournaments.
  • Attend events as scheduled.
  • Provide valuable feedback to the management team on guest preferences and expectations.
  • Interact with all casino departments to provide excellent guest service.
  • Make a good impression on players by being friendly, helpful, and well groomed.
  • Communicate directly with guests, both in person, and by telephone.
  • Work closely with the Winners Circle and assist as needed.
  • Be well versed and up to date on all events, promotions and able to answer guest questions.
  • Provide information regarding local area tourist spots, attractions, restaurants, and services. Provide accurate directions to destinations.
  • Handle guest confrontations and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Arrange tickets, bookings, appointments and reservations for guests.
  • Adhere to confidentiality policy of Chinook Winds Casino.
  • Ensure full compliance with departmental and company Internal Controls, policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Process reservations and requests from Executive Hosts including room, entertainment, golf, fitness, travel and other duties as assigned.
  • Coordinate delivery of amenities, floral orders and other specialty requests by Executive Hosts or Management.
  • Ensure the Elite room is maintained in a presentable manner and stocked appropriately. Complete the shift checklist on a daily basis.
  • Order supplies for Player Development and Elite room, maintain par levels and expenses.
  • Responsible for maintaining central files on services and reservations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or G.E.D.



One year Gaming or Hospitality experience in a high volume guest service area

(Or) Six months experience Gaming or Hospitality plus two years experience of high volume guest service


Computer Skills

Microsoft Office intermediate level to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Possess basic computer skills as well as the aptitude and willingness to learn.

Six months experience with Player Tracking system preferred.

Experience with Box Office/Ticketing preferred.


Certificates & Licenses

Oregon Drivers License

Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License

Must obtain OLCC within 30 days of employment

Must obtain a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of employment


Other Requirements

Must be able to travel occasionally
