Great Barbecue, Live Music and Carnival Fun awaits you at Chinook Winds Casino Resort as “Smokin’ at the Ocean” returns July 11 & 12!  International Federation of Competitive Eating superstar Joey Chestnut is scheduled to return to defend his rib-eating title!

 

It all starts with family fun, as for the first time, Chinook Winds brings Carnival rides and attractions to Lincoln City.

Then, feast on the Northwest’s best barbecue while Northwest bands jam on the Chinook Winds outdoor concert stage! And IFOCE sanctioned rib eating contests are slated each day!

Noon–2pm	The Water Brothers Band
2pm	IFOCE Media Charity Rib Eating Contest Top three finishers receive a share of $700 CASH for the charity of his or her choice plus an invitation to Rib Eating finals.
4pm	IFOCE Amateur Qualifier Rib Eating Contest $20 Amateur Eater sign-up fee includes a commemorative shirt for the first 10 to sign up, and entry to the Amateur Qualifier Rib Eating Contest. The top four finishers qualify for the finals on Sunday.
5pm – 6pm	FREE Poker Walk with over $500 in CASH PRIZES! Players must be 21 years old or older.
6pm – 8pm	The Salmon River Band
8:30pm – 10pm	The Highway 9 Band

3pm	IFOCE World Championship Rib Eating Contest The gastronomic gladiators of the International Federation of Competitive Eating are back for another meaty mêlée as competitive eaters chomp down ribs for fun and profit. Amateur eaters and media munchers will also be invited back to see if they can gnaw with the big dogs!

• Must be present to win.
• Must be 21 or older to participate.
• Employees of Chinook Winds Casino Resort are not eligible
• Contestants will qualify for one cash/prize per drawing
• Winners must present applicable identification for reporting purposes.
• All winners of $100 or more must fill out winner data sheet
• This promotion shall be conducted in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations
