Essential Functions

  • Manages all aspects of Chinook Winds Transportation department
  • Responsible for the development implementation of Chinook Winds transportation program, policies and procedures
  • Ensure that transportation operations are in compliance with Chinook Winds policies, NIGA, Tribal policies, State compact and Tribal gaming regulations
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all Chinook Winds vehicles
  • Develops and executes the transportation program, budget and reporting requirements as directed by the Security Director
  • As part of the Security department management team participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of goals, objectives, programs, promotions and procedures
  • Develops and maintains a teamwork environment
  • Monitors staff performance to ensure Chinook Winds’ customers service standards are achieved
  • Reviews staff reports/records to document compliance with standards and policies
  • Provides recommendations to Department Director regarding transportation training needs
  • Handles all personnel issues in a timely manner according to Chinook Winds policies and procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of Chinook Winds events, programs and services
  • Identifies and reports any irregular, unsafe or hazardous conditions
  • As part of the Security department management team will provide input or recommendations for improvements/changes in program processes or services.
  • Participates in other department projects as directed
  • Prepares and updates weekly work schedule to ensure staffing levels meet business requirements

Education

High School Diploma or GED

 

Experience

Two years supervisory experience in Transportation

Casino Transportation experience preferred

Experience and demonstrated ability operating a variety of motor vehicles, including both automatic and manual transmissions

 

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office beginner level to include Word, Excel, and Outlook

 

Certificates & Licenses

Oregon Drivers License, CDL with passenger endorsement

Ability to obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License

Must have first aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire
