Position Summary

Responsible for the sales and coordination of casino bus groups and line runs. Contracts and coordinates casino bus groups and overnight groups.

Wage Range: $11.00-$11.59+Commission

Essential Functions

  • Maintains existing accounts and develops new accounts.
  • Meets all forecasted sales goals.
  • Prepares and presents proposals for all potential business accounts.
  • Identifies gaming value of group business and prepares analysis of groups gaming activity.
  • Reviews and confirms monthly billings from motor coach companies.
  • Promotes the highest degree of quality customer service, both internally and externally.
  • Prepares daily route reports.
  • Answers telephone, provides bus information and records reservations.
  • Accesses the player tracking system for data entry and to create new accounts and group tracking.
  • Distributes Winners Circle Club cards to passengers.
  • Conducts meet and greet with all incoming groups.
  • Explains utilization of Winners Circle card and current promotions.
  • Updates all manifests upon arrival of group.
  • Manages multiple projects to meet firm deadlines.
  • Presents a professional image at all times.
  • Achieves the highest possible customer service standards while following Chinook Winds Casino Resort’s Core Values.
  • Works collaboratively with team members and other departments.
  • Adheres to Confidentiality Policy of Chinook Winds Casino Resort.
  • Ensures full compliance with departmental and company Internal Controls, Policies, Procedures and Regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

AA or BA in Public Relations, Hospitality, Psychology or Gaming related discipline preferred

 

Experience

Two years experience working with charter buses and group hotel bookings preferred

Two years experiences in gaming, hospitality or retail industry required

One year experience with direct one-on-one customer service required

Six months sales experience preferred

 

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office intermediate level to include Word, Excel, Access and Outlook

Experience with Player Tracking system preferred

 

Certificates & Licenses

Oregon Drivers License

Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License

 

Other Requirements

Must be able to travel occasionally
